    Tashlich literally meants “casting off.” We cast off all of our negativity by letting go of past grievances or grudges we may still be holding onto. Following Tashlich, it is customary to go to a large natural body of water and throw pieces of bread into it. This is the physical action which manifests our casting off.

    Rosh Hashanah has two days. This is the 2nd Evening Connnection of Rosh Hashanah.

  • Torah & Yizkor Connection - 10/09/08 - 11:00 AM ET
    The Torah & Haftarah portions for this day will be read. Additionally, the Yizkor Connection follows the reading of the Haftarah. Yizkor means "to remember" and is one of the four times of the year that we remember those who we have lost in the past year.
  • Yom Kippur Afternoon Connection - 10/09/08 - 5:00 PM ET
  • Yom Kippur Neilah Connection - 10/09/08 - 10:00 PM ET
    The greatest amount of Light is revealed to us at the end of Yom Kippur. This connection allows us to harness that energy to assist us throughout the new year.
